How to Complete the Transfer-In Forms

To transfer your RRSP/GRSP funds to your LINK GRSP account, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Your Financial Institution

    1. Reach out to the financial institution where your current RRSP or GRSP is held to begin the transfer process.

  2. Complete the CRA Transfer Form (T2033)

    1. Download the T2033 transfer form from the CRA website.

    2. Fill out the form, providing the following details:

      1. Account you’re transferring from: Information provided by your current financial institution.

      2. Account you’re transferring to: Include your LINK GRSP account number (found on your GRSP statement).

      3. Amount to transfer: Specify the amount you wish to transfer.

    3. For assistance locating your account number, refer to this article on accessing your LINK GRSP statements.

  3. Submit the Completed Form

    1. Send the completed T2033 form to LINK using one of the following methods:

      1. Fax: +1 (587) 505-2999

Important: Only CRA-compliant T2033 forms are accepted. Forms from other financial institutions will not be processed.

Confirmation of Transfer-In

Once your transfer has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email from LINK notifying you that the funds have been successfully deposited into your LINK GRSP account.

The transferred amount will also appear on your next monthly GRSP statement for your reference.
